Will human-to-human transmission of Andes virus be confirmed outside South America?
Andes virus is the only hantavirus with documented H2H transmission (Argentina 1996, 2018-2020). If person-to-person spread is confirmed in Europe, North America, or Asia, pandemic potential escalates dramatically.
Resolves YES if WHO, ECDC, CDC, or a peer-reviewed journal (IF≥4) confirms human-to-human Andes virus transmission outside South America before 2026-12-31.
