Will the United States confirm more than 20 hantavirus cases by July 1, 2026?
CDC tracks all hantavirus cases via HAN advisories and MMWR. The US averages ~20 HPS cases/year historically, but the 2026 Andes cluster could accelerate imports and secondary spread.
Resolves YES if CDC reports ≥21 cumulative confirmed hantavirus cases (any species) in the US for 2026 before July 1, 2026 23:59 UTC. Suspected/probable cases do NOT count.
On settlement the oracle attaches a signed snapshot of each source URL plus a SHA-256 hash of the page content captured at resolution time. Disputes have a 7-day arbitration window.
